Framework

It is the “fundamental right of every child” to receive right education and be given a plethora of opportunities to develop their special interests and abilities (UNESCO). Notwithstanding the nature of the difficulty that lies ahead, an effective teaching method encompasses, accommodates and empowers the five basic needs of each and every child; survival, belonging, power/ self -worth, freedom and fun.

Students experiencing learning difficulties typically display low motivation, low self-esteem/concept, difficulties with basic skills, perceiving information, social skills also problems with reasoning and problem solving. Some may also underachieve in responding adequately to the demand of a specific environment.

Inspired by the No Child Left Behind framework, Montessori and Steiner education, Butterfly-Effect Teaching perceives a child as a “Whole”. It is subsequently, committed to promote the well-being of the Whole child. Butterfly-Effect Teaching accepts and respects the child’s emotional world, supports a multisensory remediation approach and is committed to promote and raise awareness in all areas related to its well-being; emotional regulation, linguistics, mindfulness & meditation, character development and also, nutrition. Collectively, these shape the golden key that opens the door to physically and emotionally healthy, adequately supported, safe, engaged and challenged children, able to flap their wings and unfold their maximum potential.

Butterfly-Effect Teaching is an ever-growing approach that hopes to provide students with ample inspiration, support and structure to envisage themselves as part of a happy world, be able to attain long-term success and like butterflies, spread this inspiration to the world around them!
